Yes! When you create your fundraising page, one of the steps will allow you to pick where you’d like your fundraising dollars to go. You can change what’s possible for the cause you care about the most – children’s health, cancer care and research, etc.

No! There is no minimum requirement to fundraise. Set a fundraising goal that makes you comfortable — from $50 to $10,000. Every dollar raised supports our mission of quality patient care, education, and research at MUSC. We appreciate the time and effort our fundraisers put into reaching their goals!

Yes. The Medical University of South Carolina Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. Our Federal Tax Identification Number, or EIN, is 57-6028985. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please work with your tax professional to determine eligible deductions.

Yes, but we encourage everyone to give online if possible. To ensure that donations are applied to the correct fundraising page, please make sure that all check donations are made payable to MUSC Foundation. Please list the first and last name of the fundraiser's page you are donating to on the memo line of the check.

For example, if you are donating to Lisa Frank’s Breast Cancer Fundraiser page please write “Lisa Frank” in the memo line. Please mail all check donations to MUSC Foundation, 18 Bee St, MSC 450, Charleston, SC 29425.
