A national leader for nursing, the MUSC College of Nursing has set its sights on increasing the number of nurses in the workforce

Opportunities for Support

The MUSC College of Nursing COVID-19 Campaign will raise philanthropic funds to address these unprecedented pandemic challenges to offset the dire shortage of nurses.   But we cannot do it alone. We need your help.

Increasing scholarship dollars by $1,000,000 by June 2021

MUSC College of Nursing Student

We must increase the availability of scholarships to help ease nursing students’ financial burden so that our students can attend nursing school without undue financial hardship. Scholarships will also help us to recruit and educate nurses at the doctoral level to offset the national shortage of nurse educators

Raising $250,000 for simulation by June 2021

Nursing students with a simulation patient

We must prepare nurses using simulation, especially when clinical direct patient care experiences are not possible. The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in an increased need and use of high fidelity patient simulation in order to provide critical program learning experiences and an on-time graduation.

Benefits of campaign giving
