No. All undesignated gifts will be directed to the MUSC Family Fund. The Family Fund is supported solely by MUSC employees. It provides grants to programs and projects within MUSC that support education, patient care and research, and receive little or no funding from other sources.

No, they are separate campaigns. Trident United Way raises money for non-profit programs across the Lowcountry, but with the employee giving program, your gifts stay right here, funding only MUSC programs, services, scholarships, and projects.

Yes, gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

The MUSC Foundation is the philanthropic arm of MUSC. It is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, to which contributions are tax deductible. The Foundation is governed by a board of directors, and manages more than 1,300 funds that support education, patient care and research at MUSC.
