As an MUSC employee you can apply for Employee Initiatives contributions to support projects that impact the mission of the Medical University of South Carolina.
Since 1999, iterations of this fund have supported various projects with the contributions made by MUSC employees. Some projects have addressed an immediate need in a department, while others support long-term projects. All of the grants have one thing in common, they positively impact the mission of the Medical University through education, patient care, and research.
All projects must positively impact the mission of the Medical University and the larger service community.
Each grant proposal is reviewed by the Allocations Committee.

Grant applications for the 2025 to 2026 funding window must be submitted by 5 p.m., May 15, 2025. All grant funding must be in compliance with the MUSC Foundation Payment and Reimbursement Guidelines and MUSC Foundation Accounts Payable Policy and Procedure Manual (PDF) and can only be used for the project detailed in the initial submission to the Allocation Committee.
